Hatha - Vinyasa Yoga in Amsterdam

Join me every Sunday in Amsterdam Oost for a 90' Hatha-Vinyasa yoga class.

My aim in creating this class is to foster a welcoming space where yoga practitioners can deepen their practice.​

Class Description:

Rooted in the traditions of yoga, both as a devoted student and teacher, I bring a genuine and mindful approach to each class. My journey began in India, where I immersed myself in Hatha Yoga, studying with local teachers, and continued with a committed practice of Ashtanga Yoga. In every class, you can expect an authentic experience deeply connected to the teachings of yoga.


Hatha Yoga forms the foundation of our physical practice. The word "Hatha," in Sanskrit, means "force," referring to a series of physical techniques designed to prepare the body for meditation. Hatha Yoga harmonizes mental and pranic energies, guiding practitioners toward greater awareness.


Vinyasa, which translates as "to place in a special way" in Sanskrit, links breath with movement, creating a seamless flow of energy. In Vinyasa, each posture flows naturally into the next, synchronized with the breath. While some poses may be held for several breaths, the emphasis remains on smooth, mindful transitions, cultivating a dynamic yet balanced practice.


This 90-minute class offers a well rounded sequence, designed to integrate breath, body, and mind in a flowing yet accessible way. We begin with a brief Dharma talk and chant to center ourselves and set a clear intention for the practice. The flow gradually builds, moving through energizing sequences that promote strength, flexibility, and mindful movement. While the pace may vary, the practice remains rooted in awareness and alignment. Modifications and options are provided throughout, ensuring the class is accessible to practitioners of all levels. We conclude with slower, grounding postures and deep relaxation, allowing time to absorb the benefits of the practice and leave feeling revitalized, centered, and at ease.
